Selling through the bot and the mini app
The shop stores the catalog and orders, while the products are shown to the customer by a sales channel — a chatbot or a mini app. The channel picks a shop of the same project, takes products, prices, delivery and payment methods from it and creates the order in it.
Common rules for all channels:
- What the customer sees. Only products with the "Visible" status. For a product with variants — only variants with "Visible" turned on. A product that is out of stock cannot be bought.
- One cart per shop. A product added in the chat is visible in the mini app — and vice versa.
- The shop calculates prices. The platform calculates the order amount, the delivery price and free delivery "from amount" according to the shop settings at the moment of checkout.
- Checkout rules. Required phone and email, the comment, the minimum amount, delivery and payment methods are taken from the shop settings.
- Order source. The order list shows where an order came from: "Chatbot" or "Mini app".
Important
Sales channels need a Pro subscription. The shop itself — catalog, orders, customers, analytics — works without it. See the What is available without Pro page for details.
Chatbot
In the bot builder, the "Shop" group has four blocks:
| Block | What it does |
|---|---|
| Shop: catalog | Shows products in portions, with the "Add to cart" button |
| Shop: cart | Shows the cart, changes quantities, leads to checkout |
| Shop: checkout | Asks the missing questions and creates the order |
| Shop: orders | Shows the customer their latest orders |
How to connect them into a scenario and what is set up in each one is covered in the Shop blocks section.

What to know on the shop side:
- The "Shop" list in a block shows only shops of the same project as the bot.
- The order is linked to the bot contact. The checkout block saves the phone, email and address to the contact.
- When the customer pays for the order online, the bot writes to them that the order is paid. The bot does not write about order status changes.
- A contact's abandoned cart is visible in analytics — from the report you can open the contact card and write to them.
Manual orders
An order taken by phone, in a chat or in the store is placed by a team member — with the "Create order" button in the "Orders" section. Such an order gets the "Manual" source. More details are on the Orders and customers page.
Check before launch
- The shop has at least one product with the "Visible" status that is in stock or has stock tracking turned off.
- Delivery methods are set in the settings — or you deliberately place orders without delivery.
- At least one method is chosen in the "Payments" section: online payment or payment on delivery.
- This shop is chosen in the bot blocks or the mini app elements.
- Go through the customer journey in the preview: the order will appear in the "Orders" section with the "test" mark.
What the shop does not have
- Promo codes and order discounts. A product discount is shown with the "Compare-at price".
- Delivery calculation by address and connection of delivery services.
- A separate shop website: sales go through the bot and the mini app.
- Messages to the customer about order status changes and abandoned cart reminders.
- Automatic refunds: a refund is made in the payment system's dashboard.
